1: Suggest a Question

All good reviews start with a good question. We would like you to suggest questions we might use for The People's Review.

2: Choose the Question

From your suggestions, we will get a list of great questions. However, The People's Review can only answer one question and YOU will choose it. We will ask you to vote for your favourite question in two rounds of surveys.

4: Select the Studies

To make sure that we have included all possible studies, we have to search wide and far. We will need your help to sift through studies to decide whether YOU think they answer the People's favourite question or not.

5: Extract the Data

Once we have our studies to include in our review. The next step is to take a closer look at them and pull out all the important information.

6: Check for Bias

Now we need to take an even closer look at the studies. This involves checking if there are any flaws (also called bias) in how the studies were done. This helps us know if we can trust the evidence.

7: Interpret the Results

We will pool all the data together and run some tests. We will then need your help to make sense of the review findings.

The Review & Follow up

We will use all the information from the previous eight stages to right up our findings in a report. We will publish this report in an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, so everyone can view and access The People's Review.

We will also ask you to complete a short 'Post-Review Survey' to see what you learned and to give you the opportunity to share your thoughts about The People's Review process.
